The convertible top must be moved to various positions in order to gain the best possible access to the fitting areas shown below.

Information 

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown:

1. Remove rear seat cushion. → 745719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SEAT CUSHION .
2. Remove wind deflector. → 684719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIND DEFLECTOR .
3. Remove belt deflector clip. → 691119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT THREE-POINT BELT .
