Installing Air Deflector For Sliding Roof

Fit the air deflector springs in the air deflector bracket.
Insert the air deflector bracket together with the air deflector springs into the frame and screw down securely. → Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lbs.)
Information

Coat the air deflector piping and insertion groove with soapy water to facilitate fitting.
Fit air deflector piping.
1. 3.1. Centre the marking -1- on the air deflector net in the groove -arrow- .
  Information
  
  When fitting the air deflector net in the groove, make sure that it is fitted without folds.
2. 3.2. Fit the air deflector piping in the groove, starting at the center and moving outwards.

Install air deflector cable.
1. 4.1. Tighten the fastening screw -1- for the air deflector cable in the air deflector -2- . → Tightening torque: 0.5 Nm (0.3 ft. lbs.) 0.7 Nm (0.5 ft. lbs.)
