Installing Headliner

Information 

Make sure that the roof cover does not buckle.

1. Fit the headliner.
   1. 1.1. Two people are needed in order to fit the headliner.
      1. 1.1.1. Position of first person: Driver's door
      2. 1.1.2. Position of second person: Passenger's door
   2. 1.2. Move the headliner into the vehicle through the passenger side -arrow-  .

   3. 1.3. Guide the headliner into the vehicle until the front edge of the headliner is on the center console.

2. Two people must now lift up the headliner and clip in the fastening parts at the rear -arrows-  .

3. Screw in fastening screws close to the roof console -arrow-  .

4. Secure the headliner close to the sliding-roof aperture (only on vehicles with a sunroof)  .

   1. 4.1. Clip the headliner onto the covering frame using the fastening clips -arrows-  .
   2. 4.2. Screw in fastening screws at the front -arrows-  .

5. Install sun visor holder.

   1. 5.1. Position sun visor holder -arrow-  .
   2. 5.2. Screw in fastening screw → Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.)  .
   3. 5.3. Close the cover until it engages securely -arrow-  .

6. Fit rubber door seal -1-  on the body flange close to the headliner -arrows-  .

7. Close the sliding-roof panel.
8. Move driver's and passenger's seat backrest back to its original position.
