Loosening Front Apron At The Bottom

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .

1. Unscrew fastening screws at the bottom -2-  of the front apron -1-  .

   Information 

   On Turbo and Turbo S vehicles, disconnect hose connection for front spoiler pneumatic system.

2. Unscrew and remove fastening screws at the bottom of the air deflector vanes.
   1. 2.1. Unclip air deflection vane -1-  and swivel it downwards.

      Information 

      Air hoses are color-coded and must not be interchanged.

      Observe marking for insertion depth of hose connection.

      Hoses must not be kinked.

   2. 2.2. Pull hose connections down through the opening and disconnect them at the hose connections -1-  .
