Removing Lower Part Of Rear Lid Lock

1. Unclip inner right cover and remove it by pulling it upwards -arrow-  .

2. Loosen upper part of oil filler neck.
   • 2.1. Unscrew and remove fastening screw on upper part of oil filler neck -arrow-  .
   • 2.2. Remove coolant cap and set upper part aside.
   • 2.3. Protect coolant filler neck to prevent dirt and parts from falling in.

3. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  for rear apron.

4. Remove cover caps and unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  on cover for lower part of lock at the left and right.

5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  at the right.

6. Swivel cover for lower part of lid lock out of the guide for the rear apron and remove it by pulling it upwards.
