Checking Inner Luggage Compartment Release (Trunk Entrapment)

WARNING: Luggage compartment lid opens while the vehicle is moving
  • Luggage compartment lid breaks off and hits the windshield

→ Stop the vehicle immediately when the warning lights come on. The luggage compartment lid opens fully 30 seconds after being released.

  1. Check whether the upper part of the lock automatically disengages from the lower part of the lock.
  2. → Upper part of lid lock = tool (Porsche spare part) must be engaged in the lower part of the lock in -direction of arrow-  .

  3. Unlock unlocking lever in the luggage compartment. Check whether the upper part of the lid lock disengages automatically.
