Installing Upper Part Of Front Lid Lock

Fit upper part of front lid lock -2- , screw in new fastening screws -1- and tighten to the specified tightening torque.
→ Tightening Torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.) +/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)

Close the lid and check that the upper part of the lid lock engages at the center of the lower part of the lid lock. -arrow-
If it does not engage properly, adjust lower part of lid lock. → 551719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOWER PART OF FRONT LID LOCK
