Removing FLOORPAN

Remove mounting plate for roll-over bar.

1.1. Drill out marked rivets -B- on the inner floorpan using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 6.6 mm .

1.2. Drill out marked rivets -A- on the lower floorpan using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 6.6 mm .

Remove connection bracket.

2.1. Drill out marked punch rivets -A- from below using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 6.6 mm .
2.2. Unscrew and remove flow drill screws -2- .
2.3. Heat the marked bonding surfaces.

2.4. Remove connection bracket -1- .

Mark and make cuts. → Distance: 35 mm → Distance: 35 mm
Information

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
Make a cut -arrows- as shown along the beading in the firewall plate -2- .

Heat the marked bonding areas of the lower firewall section -2- .

5.1. Remove lower firewall section -2- .

Drill out punch rivets -A, B and C- on the inner floorpan using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 6.6 mm .

Heat bonding areas.

8.1. Remove floorpan by pulling it up.
