Installing FLOORPAN

  1. Install floorpan.

    Information 

    • Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
    • The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
    • Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 
    1. 1.1. Apply adhesive. → Application depth: 3 mm 

      Working with body structural adhesive → WM 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE (EXCEPT CARRERA "EDITION", CARRERA CABRIOLET "EDITION", CARRERA 4 "EDITION", CARRERA 4 CABRIOLET "EDITION") .

    2. 1.2. Rivet floorpan in area -A and C-  from the inside. → BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01

  2. Install firewall section.

    2. 2.2. Rivet firewall section in area -A and C-  . → BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01

  3. Install connection bracket.

    Information

    2. 3.2. Rivet connection bracket in area -A-  . → BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01
    3. 3.3. Screw flow drill screws -2-  into the connection bracket -1-  .

  4. Install mounting plate for roll-over bar on the inside.

  5. Install Z mounting plate for roll-over bar at the bottom.
