Removing Side Member Reinforcement (Front Section)

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Information 

Mark cuts X  in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

1. Mark and make cuts. → Distance: 560 mm

   Information 

   Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

2. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill  .

3. Heat the bonding surfaces.
   1. 3.1. Remove side member reinforcement section.
