Painting Wing (Design)

Information 

Align front masking with the side direction indicator light.

Side transition area

1. Sand the wing for surface paining.
2. Affix painting template > Decorative film for wing 991 503 943/944  .
   1. 2.1  Affix masking tape along the edge of the wing. > Spacing 300 mm 

      The transition area starts at position > Spacing 300 mm  and ends at position > Area 500 mm 

   2. 2.2  Determine masking area on the wing and mark it.

      > Spacing 13 mm 

      > Spacing 53 mm 

      > Spacing 12 mm 

      > Spacing 10 mm 

   3. 2.3  Pull protective film off the painting template.
   4. 2.4  Position painting template according to the applied markings.
   5. 2.5  Press on painting template using a squeegee.
   6. 2.6  Press on edges of the painting template firmly.
3. Mask the remaining areas on the wing.
4. Cover the vehicle.
5. Clean painting surface and paint the design on the wing. Paint Manual 
6. Remove painting template.
7. Paint the wing with clear lacquer. Paint Manual
