Adjusting Front Door

WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

Information

Set gap dimensions on the lids, doors and covers, or accessories in accordance with the gap specifications.
Given a clearance in the openings that is too great or too small, the movable body parts or the accessories must be centered accordingly.
Ensure that the gaps do not run in a wedge-shaped fashion or do not narrow at local points.
You can use Star Gauges For Body Gap Dimensions Nr. 127-1 for this.
The given values are guidelines which should be observed as far as possible.
The guidelines apply to repair and assembly work.

To ensure that the tapered seat of the hinge is positioned without tension, it may be necessary to take the door hinges off the door if:

A new bare door shell is installed.
The bare door shell was or is damaged.
The bare door shell has no seam joining line.

2.	Front Door Hinge		Adjust The Contour With Respect To The Wing, Side Panel And Side Member By Moving The Door Hinges Vertically And Horizontally.
3.	Fastening Screw -1- Securing Door Hinge -2- To Front Door	Adjustment Of Gap Dimensions In Y And Z Direction	Tighten Fastening Screw -1- Securing Door Hinge -2- To Front Door To.
