Removing Wire Harness For Convertible Top
- Disconnect electric plug connection -2-
on the control unit for the convertible top -1 -
.

- Disconnect the two contacts for rear window heating -1, 2-
(-A, B-
).

- Unclip wire harness around the rear window -a-
and remove it from the rear roof guide -1-
. Remove wire harness from the tension bow.

- Take wire harness for rear window heating -2-
out of the mountings -1-
and pull it out through the cable duct -a-
.

- Unscrew the two fastening screws -2-
on the position sensor -1-

- Unclip wire harness -1, 2, 3-

- Cut open tie-wraps -2-
on the roof guide -1-
and loosen the wire harness.

- Unclip wire harness from the groove on the roof guide -1-
(cut open existing taped connections -2-
) and remove the wire harness from the roof guide.

- Release electric plug connections -1, 2-
at the latch -3-

) and unplug the connectors.
