Wire harness for convertible top

Disconnect the electric plug connections -1- on the left and right of the rear window heating.
Pull the grommet -2- for the additional brake light line out of the rear lid.

Release and disconnect the electric plug connection -1- at the wiper motor for the rear window washer -a- . → 923419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE WIPER MOTOR FOR THE REAR WINDOW WASHER

Unclip all holders -arrows- for the wire harness of the convertible top -1- and place the wire harness for the convertible top onto the convertible top compartment.

Information

Select a connection point so that there is enough space to join all individual lines.

Do not cut the lines too short in case they have to be laid in a different position if there is insufficient space in the area of the joint.

Refer to the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS information.

The procedure for stripping insulation, crimping and insulating the electric lines are described in the Repair kit for Cayenne wiring harnesses NR.155-2 . Observe instructions and further procedures.

Crimping samples must be prepared before beginning work.
Out-bind and replace any damaged lines from the wire harness of the convertible top.
