Installing Cutoff Relay

WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts
  • Danger of injury
  • Loss of torque

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

  1. Connect electric plug connection on the cutoff relay -A-  , then slide in the latch -1-  (-a-  ) until it locks securely.

  2. First position cutoff relay -1-  , then cutoff relay -2-  .
    1. 2.1. Slide the eyelets of the electric lines onto the studs -A-  .

  3. Tighten the fastening nuts -1-  to secure the cutoff relays. → Tightening torque: 12 Nm (9 ftlb.)+/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)

  4. Press the cover of the power distributor onto the locking lugs -arrow-  until all the locking lugs engage securely.
