Installing Sub-Part For Tail Light

Slide new sub-part -1- through towards the engine compartment -A- and fit rubber sleeve -2- .

Crimp sub-part -1- and vehicle wire harness -2- in area -X- .

1. 2.1. Cut off lines in different lengths (due to the shrink-fit hose connections).
2. 2.2. Slide shrink-fit hoses onto the lines.
3. 2.3. Strip 10 mm of insulation off the lines.
4. 2.4. Crimp the lines using crimping sleeves and the hand crimping pliers from the cable repair kit Nr.155-1 Pos.1 .
5. 2.5. Slide the shrink-fit hoses over the crimp connections and carefully shrink them using the hot-air blower with special nozzle (recommended accessories for the repair kit for wire harnesses) so that they are watertight.
6. 2.6. Wrap commercially available PVC tape all around the area of the connection points.
Fit retaining clips -3- on the wire harness and clip it to the body -B- .
