Installing Sub-Part For Rear Right Wheel Housing (TPM)
- Move rubber sleeve -2-
on the sub-part -1-
to the connector for the sub-part -1-

- Crimp the sub-part in area -X-
.
- 2.1. Cut off lines in different lengths (due to the shrink-fit hose connections).
- 2.2. Slide shrink-fit hoses onto the lines.
- 2.3. Strip 10 mm of insulation off the lines.
- 2.4. Crimp the lines using crimping sleeves and the hand crimping pliers
from the cable repair kit Nr.155-1 Pos.1
.
- 2.5. Slide the shrink-fit hoses over the crimp connections and carefully shrink them using the hot-air blower with special nozzle
(recommended accessories for the repair kit for wire harnesses) so that they are watertight.
- 2.6. Wrap commercially available PVC tape all around the area of the connection points.
- Insulate sub-part -2-
together with the wire harness for the TPM control unit -3-

- Move rubber sleeve -1-
on the sub-part onto the insulation.
- Slide sub-part -1-
through the opening in the wheel housing -A-

- Secure rubber sleeve -2-
to the body.
- Install sound absorber -3-

- Route the wire harness -2-

- Clip in tie-wrap -1-
on the body.
- Route the wire harness -1-
in the wheel housing.

- Release and pull off electric plug connection -2-
on the antenna for KESSY.
- Plug in electric plug connection -3-
on the TPM control unit.
- Clip in retaining clip -4-
on the antenna for KESSY.
- Clip in retaining clip -5-
on the body.
