Installing Main Wire Harness

Installation is performed in reverse order.
Information

Check that the lines are routed correctly!
Lay the main wire harness loosely at first and pull the sub-parts through the relevant cut-outs into the individual areas of the body.
Secure main wire harness and wires coming from it.
Secure feed-through element in firewall.

1. 4.1. Move feed-through element in firewall into installation position.
2. 4.2. Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque. → Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
3. 4.3. Check that the feed-through element in the firewall is tight against the body over its entire length.
Plug in control units and electric plug connections until they engage securely.
