Securing Wire Harness In Right Side Of Engine Compartment

1. 7  - Plug connection for air distribution flap change-over valve
2. 8  - Plug connection for right engine mount
3. 9  - Plug connection for oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter
4. 10  - Plug connection for oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter
5. 11  - Right tail light
6. 12  - Plug connection for engine wire harness
7. 13  - Plug connection for engine wire harness
8. 14  - Plug connection for thermal management change-over valve
9. 15  - Plug connection for engine wire harness (2-pin)
10. 16  - Plug connection for exhaust system flaps change-over valve
11. 17  - Plug connection for rear right ABS wire harness

1. Secure wire harness.

   1. 1.1. Squeeze the rubber sleeve together -A-  and push into the body -B-  .
   2. 1.2. Ensure that the rubber sleeve is in contact with the body over its entire circumference.
   3. 1.3. Clip in wire harness by pressing in fixing clip -C-  .
2. Connect wire harness sub-part for rear right wheel housing.
   1. 2.1. Pull ABS wire harness connector into the rear right wheel housing.
   2. 2.2. Plug electric plug connection of connection point into the rear right ABS wire harness. → 976519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ABS WIRE HARNESS 
3. Plug wire harness plug connections in engine compartment into the engine wire harness.

   1. 3.1. Insert plug connections into the holder and lock -A-  .
   2. 3.2. Plug in plug connections until they engage -B-  .
4. Plug in plug connection for exhaust system flaps change-over valve until it engages -arrow-  .

5. Plug in plug connection for air distribution flap change-over valve -arrow-  until it engages.

6. Plug in plug connection for thermal management change-over valve -arrow-  until it engages.

7. Plug in plug connection for the engine wire harness (black, 2-pin) -arrow-  until it engages.

8. Guide in tail light connector.

   1. 8.1. Pull the tail light connector into the tail light frame.
   2. 8.2. Squeeze the rubber sleeve together -A-  and push into the body aperture -B-  .
   3. 8.3. Ensure that the rubber sleeve is in contact with the body over its entire circumference.
9. Connect oxygen sensor connectors in engine compartment.
   1. 9.1. Plug in green plug connection (upstream of catalytic converter) until it engages. → Installing Oxygen Sensor Upstream Of Catalytic Converter
   2. 9.2. Plug in grey plug connection (downstream of catalytic converter) until it engages. → Installing Oxygen Sensor Downstream Of Catalytic Converter
10. Plug in engine mount plug connection -arrow-  .
