Securing The Wire Harness In The Left Side Of Engine Compartment

1. Plug connection for left engine mount
2. Plug connection for oxygen sensor downstream of left catalytic converter
3. Plug connection for rear apron wire harness
4. Plug connection for left tail light
5. Plug connection for oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter
6. Plug connection for rear left ABS wire harness

1. Secure wire harness.

   1. 1.1. Squeeze the rubber sleeve together -A-  and push into the body aperture -B-  .
   2. 1.2. Ensure that the rubber sleeve is in contact with the body over its entire circumference.
   3. 1.3. Clip in the wire harness by pressing in -C-  the fixing clip -1-  .
2. Connect the sub-part wire harness for the rear left wheel housing.
   1. 2.1. Pull the ABS wire harness connector into the rear left wheel housing.
   2. 2.2. Plug in the electric plug connection at the connection point on the rear left ABS wire harness. → 976519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ABS WIRE HARNESS 
3. Guide in the tail light connector.

   1. 3.1. Pull the tail light connector into the tail light frame.
   2. 3.2. Squeeze the rubber sleeve together -A-  and push into the body aperture -B-  .
   3. 3.3. Ensure that the rubber sleeve is in contact with the body over its entire circumference.
4. Install holder for the engine compartment wire harness.

   1. 4.1. Place holder in the installation position -arrow-  .
   2. 4.2. Screw in the M6 fastening screw -1-  and tighten to the specified torque.

      → Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm 

5. Plug in the oxygen sensors plug connection in the engine compartment.
   1. 5.1. Plug in the green plug connection (upstream of catalytic converter) until it engages. → Installing Oxygen Sensor Upstream Of Catalytic Converter
   2. 5.2. Plug in the grey plug connection (downstream of catalytic converter) until it engages. → Installing Oxygen Sensor Downstream Of Catalytic Converter
6. Plug in the engine mount plug connection -arrow-  until it engages.

7. Plug in rear apron plug connection.

   1. 7.1. Push plug connection into holder until it engages.
   2. 7.2. Plug in plug connection -arrow-  until it engages.
