Installing Wire Harness For Dashboard

Information 

The number of plug connections can vary, depending on equipment.

Information 

The wire harnesses are supplied as maximum equipment. Tie branches which are not needed and stow noise away safely.

Information 

Check that the lines are routed correctly!

  1. Secure wire harness on the dashboard bracket.

    1. 1.1. Place wire harness in installation position.
    2. 1.2. Clip in fixing clips -1-  on the front of the dashboard bracket.
    3. 1.3. Clip in fixing clips -2-  on the back of the dashboard bracket.
    4. 1.4. Clip in fixing clips -1-  for wire harness at the heating/fresh-air unit.

  2. Make sure that all brackets are clipped in.
  3. Plug in plug connections for wire harness for dashboard.
    1. 3.1. Plug in plug connections at the connection point on the left A-pillar until they engage securely.
    2. 3.2. Guide plug connections into the left fuse box bracket until they engage securely.
    3. 3.3. Plug in plug connections at the connection point on the right A-pillar until they engage securely.
    4. 3.4. Guide plug connections into the right fuse box bracket until they engage securely.
    5. 3.5. Plug in plug connection for the blower power supply until it engages securely.
    6. 3.6. Plug the plug connection for the blower power supply into the bracket on the heating/fresh-air unit until it engages securely.
