Subsequent Work

  1. Install rear side trim panel. → 707519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL - section on "Installing"
  2. If the power-window control unit was replaced, the "new" control unit must be adapted to suit the vehicle with PIWIS Tester II 9818  using the front door control unit. → 577355 REPLACING FRONT DOOR CONTROL UNIT
  3. Carry out function test on the rear power windows mechanism.
  4. Teach end positions of the rear power windows mechanism.
    1. 4.1. Pull rocker switch and close window fully.
    2. 4.2. Pull rocker switch again. (The upper end position is stored).
    3. 4.3. Press rocker switch and open window fully.
    4. 4.4. Press rocker switch again. (The lower end position is stored).
    5. 4.5. Carry out function test on automatic power windows.
