Preliminary Work

  1. If a new power-window control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out with PIWIS Tester II 9818  using the front door control unit before removing the "old" control unit. → 577355 REPLACING FRONT DOOR CONTROL UNIT
  2. Remove rear side trim panel. → 707519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL - section on "Removing"
