Removing Locking Mechanism For Rear Backrest

Fold the backrest forward.
Remove cover on locking mechanism for backrest.

1. 2.1. Carefully prise off actuating lever on locking mechanism for the backrest using a plastic wedge -arrow- .
2. 2.2. Unscrew fastening screw -1- .
3. 2.3. Pull cushion at the front away from the cover slightly.

4. 2.4. Unclip the retaining lugs -A- and -B- , which are now visible, and remove cover on the locking mechanism -C- .
Remove locking mechanism for backrest.

1. 3.1. Unscrew both fastening screws -1- .
2. 3.2. Unclip the locking mechanism -A- and remove it -B- .
  To do this, carefully lift up the cover on the backrest.
