Subsequent Work

  1. Install steering-column switch. → Installing Steering-Column Switch
  2. Install trim panel (steering-column switch). → Installing Trim Panel (Steering-Column Switch)
  3. Install steering wheel. → Installing Steering Wheel
  4. If the steering wheel electronics control unit was replaced, the values must be written back into the control unit again using PIWIS Tester II 9818  . → 916255 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR STEERING WHEEL ELECTRONICS
