Installing SDARS Antenna

Information 

The SDARS antenna is supplied unpainted and must therefore be painted the color of the vehicle when replaced. 

Information 

Where components are fitted to body parts, make sure that the surfaces to be sealed are clean.

• Non-observance leads to the corrosion of body parts. 
• Non-observance leads to the corrosion of electric plug connections and malfunctions. 

1. Fit SDARS antenna -arrow-  .

2. Secure SDARS antenna using the fastening screw -arrow-  . → tightening torque: 2 Nm+0.5 Nm

3. Fit SDARS antenna plug connection until the connector locks securely -arrow-  .
   1. 3.1. Insert SDARS antenna plug connection into the body aperture.
