Installing Horn

Information 

The Workshop Information describes how to remove and install the left horn. The right horn is removed and installed as a mirror image of the steps described for the left horn.

1. Connect electric plug connection until the connector engages securely.

   Information 

   The horn can hit against the sound channel on Turbo vehicles. In the event of a complaint, press the horn back at the fastening screw and screw it in securely.

2. Fit the horn together with the holder -2-  at the correct position on the threaded pin -A-  and secure with the fastening nut -1-  .

   → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)

3. Secure the front apron with the fastening screws -1-  .

   → Tightening torque: 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)
