  1. If the instrument cluster has to be replaced, the values/data must be read out prior to removal using PIWIS Tester II 9818  . → 902555 REPLACING INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  - section on "Replacing"
  2. Remove dashboard insert. → 900319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DASHBOARD INSERT  - section on "Removing"
