Suspension alignment of the Panamera differs only slightly from that of conventional suspension alignment. This concerns vehicle height adjustment, wheel-load difference from left to right, special tools and corrections to wheel alignment.
- -A- - V.A.G 1923 Open-jawed wrench insert Nr.95-2 - For tightening the lock nut(s) on the front tie rod(s) to the prescribed tightening torque. Can also be used for loosening.
- -C- - Torque wrench 00000 for torques of between 70 Nm (52 ftlb.) and 180 Nm (133 ftlb.). - Commercially available; use in combination with tool A.
Quick-clamping holders → Self-centering quick-clamping holder (for securing the measured-value pickups on the wheels) are used for the Panamera. These measured-value pickups are positioned (with the claws first) centrally in the center of the rim and tauten clockwise in the rim with the straining ring.
Existing quick-clamping holders (old version) can be retrofitted by replacing the left and right clamping units.
