Replacing Crankshaft Sealing Ring At Transmission Side

  1. Remove pulse sender wheel from the crankshaft stub.
  2. Prise out shaft sealing ring using extractor tool T20143  .

    Clean running surfaces and sealing faces.

  3. Then drill a hole for the dowel pin in the fitting tool T10122  . The hole should have a diameter of 8 mm -arrow 2-  . Use the bore hole -arrow 1-  in the pulse sender wheel as a drilling template.

  4. Fit the assembly aid -T10122/1-  on the fitting sleeve -T10122/2-  and slide the shaft sealing ring -A-  onto the fitting sleeve.

    Remove assembly aid.

  5. Fit the fitting sleeve -T10122/2-  with the shaft sealing ring -1-  onto the crankshaft.

  6. Press in shaft sealing ring uniformly until flush all round using pressure sleeve -T10122/3-  .

  7. Installation is performed in reverse order.
