Information 

The front-axle carrier is high and for this reason it is only possible to remove the transmission on the lifting platform with the engine removed. For details, see → 373427 REMOVING AND MOUNTING PORSCHE DOPPELKUPPLUNG (PDK) → 373527 REMOVING AND MOUNTING TRANSMISSION

The engine must be supported with a ram at the front on the oil filter housing/oil guide housing as the engine tilts forward when the transmission is removed.
