Removing Exhaust Manifold, Cylinders 1 - 4

  1. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield.

    Exhaust manifold heat shield (cylinders 1 - 4 shown here)

    Remove fastening screws -A and B-  .

    Remove outer heat shield -C-  .

  2. Remove fastening nuts -1 to 12-  .

    Exhaust manifold fastening nuts

    1 to 12  Nut M8; exhaust manifold to cylinder head
  3. Remove exhaust manifold -5-  , heat shield and seal -2-  .

    5  Hexagon nut, M8
    A  M6 screw; heat shield to exhaust manifold
