- Allocation of crankshaft bearing shells for cylinder block
- 1. Bearing shells -1, 2, 3 and 4-
of the correct thickness are allocated to the cylinder block at the factory. Colored dots on the bearing shell indicate the thickness of the bearing shell.
The -arrow- must be pointing to the pulley side.
- 2. The allocation of the bearing shells to the cylinder block is indicated by a letter next to the relevant bearing.

- 1. Bearing shells -1, 2, 3 and 4- of the correct thickness are allocated to the bearing covers at the factory. Colored dots on the bearing shell indicate the thickness of the bearing shell.
- 2. The arrow -arrow- must be pointing to the pulley side.
- 3. The allocation of bearing shells to the crankshaft is indicated by a series of letters on the edge of the crankshaft. The initial "1" indicates the color code for bearing 1.
