Preparing B-Pillar For Installation

  1. Fit the B-pillar.
    1. 1.1. Cut the B-pillar at the transitions to the roof leaving an overlap of 20 mm.

    2. 1.2. Fit the B-pillar.

    3. 1.3. Make cuts through the B-pillar and body in the overlap areas.

      Observe gap dimensions. → 5X00IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS

  2. Remove B-pillar.
  3. Make eight new holes for plug-welding using inert gas using a body hole punch.

  4. Prepare connection areas of the B-pillar for bonding.
