Removing Rear Brake Calliper

  1. Fastening screw for EPB actuator
  2. EPB actuator
  3. Sealing ring
  4. Fastening screw securing brake calliper to calliper carrier
  5. Boot for guide pin
  6. Fastening screw securing brake calliper to wheel bearing housing
  7. Calliper carrier
  8. Brake calliper
  9. Ventilation valve
  10. Dust boot
  11. Pad retaining bracket
  12. Brake pad
  13. Cable for brake pad wear indicator
  14. Cable holder for brake pad wear indicator
  1. Disconnect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator at the brake calliper.
  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  on the speed sensor.

    Rear speed sensor 

  3. Disconnect brake line -2-  at the brake calliper and collect brake fluid in a suitable container.
  4. Close off brake line using a suitable stopper.
  5. Unscrew fastening screws -3-  on the calliper carrier.
