Removing Rear Power Windows

Installation position of power windows mechanism 

1. Unclip cover on door inner panel, guide out door release cable at the cover and remove cover.
2. Disconnect electric plug connection for power window motor.
   1. 2.1. Press release button -b-  and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .
3. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  and remove power window motor -3-  .

   Removing rear power window motor 

4. Loosen door window glass at the power windows mechanism.
   1. 4.1. Actuate locking mechanism -2-  and remove limit stop -3-  on the power windows mechanism.

      Move door window glass -1-  down until the locking mechanism -5-  is accessible.

      Actuate locking mechanism -5-  using a suitable tool -arrow A-  and carefully raise the door window glass -1-  (-arrow B-  ).

   2. 4.2. Pull door window glass -1-  fully up -arrow B-  out of the mounting points -4-  .

5. Slide door window glass up fully and secure it to prevent it from falling down.
6. Remove stopper at the top of the body shell of the door.
   1. 6.1. Loosen fastening nut at the top and unscrew and remove fastening nuts at the bottom.

      Removing power windows mechanism 

7. Press mounting clip for power window motor together using a suitable tool and unclip it from the body shell of the door.
8. Guide out power windows mechanism at the top and remove through the opening in the body shell of the door.
