Installing Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

- Clean sealing face of the clutch cover.NOTE:
- Replace O-ring and circlip.
- Turn plain compression rings -B-
on the hub and check smooth operation and axial play.NOTE:
- Plain compression rings must move freely.

- Clean transmission housing close to the PDK transmission and the sealing face.NOTE:
- Do not allow particles of dirt to get into the transmission.

- Check plain bearing bushing -arrow-
in the transmission for scoring.

- Coat new O-ring -C-
and hub -B-
with ATF.NOTE:
- Do not crush new O-ring.

- Install Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). → Installing Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
- 7.1. Allow the PDK transmission to engage in the splines of the ATF pump and transmission shaft using short lifting/turning movements.
- 7.2. PDK transmission is seated correctly if the O-ring on the clutch cover is touching the edge of the transmission housing.

NOTE:- Tighten fastening screws crosswise.
- Tighten new fastening screws -1 - 5-
. Initial tightening 1 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) Torque angle +90° Final tightening +10 Nm (+7.5 ftlb.)
