Component overview of control mechanism for transmission

  1. ATF drain plug → Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.) 
  2. Sealing ring/replace 
  3. Screw → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  4. Expansion rivet
    • In original equipment for securing seal to ATF oil pan
    • Not absolutely necessary for installation
  5. Magnet
    • Clean magnet when changing ATF
  6. Screw → Initial tightening: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) → Final tightening: +90° 
  7. O-rings/replace 
  8. ATF pressure pipes
  9. Retaining bracket for ATF pressure pipes
  10. Screw → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  11. O-rings/replace 
  12. O-rings/replace 
  13. ATF oil pipes
  14. O-rings/replace 
  15. O-ring/replace 
  16. ATF filter housing
  17. O-ring/replace 
  18. ATF filter housing cover
  19. ATF spin-on filter
  20. Screw → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  21. O-rings/replace 
  22. ATF return line
  23. ATF supply line
  24. Screw → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 
  25. ATF filler plug and inspection plug → Tightening torque: 60 Nm (44 ftlb.) 
  26. O-rings/not available individually 
  27. Screw → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 
  28. Connector housing with O-rings
  29. Transmission housing
  30. O-rings/not available individually 
  31. ATF oil pipes with O-rings
  32. Screw → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 
  33. Cable guide for RPM sensors
  34. O-ring/replace 
  35. ATF suction filter
