High-pressure pump

  1. Electric plug connection for fuel pressure control valve
  2. Screw/replace → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 
  3. Pressure regulator
  4. High-pressure pump
    • Make sure that no dirt gets into the fuel system during installation
    • Protect the high-pressure pump from impact of any kind
    • The fuel system must be depressurised for installation
    • Do not strain fuel lines during installation
  5. O-ring/replace if damaged 
  6. Roller tappet
  7. Fuel line connection → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 
  8. Clamp/replace 
  9. Fuel line
    • Do not strain fuel lines during installation
  10. Fuel line adapter/replace → Tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ftlb.) 
  11. Nut → Tightening torque: 27 Nm (20 ftlb.)+/-2 Nm (+/-1.5 ftlb.) 
  12. Fuel line/coat ball with engine oil 
    • Do not strain fuel lines during installation
  13. Screw/replace → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 
  14. Spring band clamp
