Removing Convertible Top Lock

Disconnect line at the convertible top lock.

1. 1.1. Release plug connection -2- (-arrow A- ) and pull it off -arrow B- .
2. 1.2. Cut tie-wrap -3- .
Unscrew fastening screws -4- and remove struts -5- (only if fitted).

Mark installation position on the roof frame with a marker before removal. -1-
- New roof frames have a bore for aligning the lock. -arrow A-

Loosen convertible top lock.

1. 3.1. Unscrew fastening screw -2- and remove tension rope -3- .
2. 3.2. Unscrew fastening screws -4- .
3. 3.3. Carefully remove convertible top lock -1- .
4. 3.4. Disconnect plug connection -2- on the back of the convertible top lock -1- .
  1. 3.4.1. Release plug connection -2- (-arrow A- ) and pull it off -arrow B- .
