Installing Turbocharger

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2019 Porsche 911, 2018 Porsche 911, 2017 Porsche 911, 2016 Porsche 911, and 2015 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
1. 1.1. Replace exhaust manifold seal.
2. 1.2. Replace fastening nuts.
  Grease studs with MicroGLEIT LP 475 .
  
  Tightening torque for securing turbocharger to exhaust manifold:
  
  Tightening torque for securing turbocharger to top bracket:
  
  Information
  - Check O-rings on the plug-in couplings and replace them if necessary.
  - Clean plug connection and coolant hoses before assembly.
  - Coat O-rings and coolant hoses with Kluber Plus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
  - Remove stoppers before fitting the coolant lines and hoses.
3. 1.3. Replace O-rings on the coolant lines.
  Information
  - Replace O-rings.
  - Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68).
    Replace O-rings on the oil lines.

6. 1.6. Tightening torque for exhaust temperature sensor:
  NOTE:
  Exhaust emissions temperature sensor fitted incorrectly
  - Risk of damage to components
  → Only use prescribed lubricant when installing the sensor.
  
  → Carefully check the thread for damage and smear the surface with Optimal MF Paste (Part No. 000.043.207.07).
  
  Grease thread with the prescribed lubricant.
