Installing Engine Mounting

Risk of squashing or crushing

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Fit the engine mounting on the engine carrier by guiding the threaded bolt through the mounting eyelet on the engine carrier.
Secure the engine mounting -1- .
1. 2.1. Fit and tighten three external Torx screws (E12, M8 x 75) -2- .
  → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.)
2. 2.2. Connect cable plug -3- .

Fit M12 collar nut (internal Torx, screw insert T55) on the threaded bolt for the engine mounting and tighten it.
→ Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
Lower jack together with transmission jack plate and push out of work area.
