Installing Engine Carrier

- Insert engine carrier into threaded bolt and position using two M10 collar nuts.
- 1.1. Position M10 x 80 outer Torx screw and screw in as far as it will go.
WARNING: Danger of objects or loads falling down- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
- Raise engine to its installation position using the transmission jack.
- 2.1. Position two M12 special nuts (inner Torx, screw insert T55) -1- at the engine mounting (hydraulic mount) on the left and right.
- 2.2. Position spacer sleeve -2- for special screw -1- in engine compartment.
- 2.3. Insert special screw through bore in rear-lid rack and tighten it.
→ Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.)
- Tighten two M10 collar nuts and M10 x 80 outer Torx screw. → Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.) ; → Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.)
- Tighten M12 special nuts on the left and right engine mountings. → Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
