Preliminary Work

- Remove engine → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE .
- Remove transmission → WM 343527 REMOVING AND MOUNTING TRANSMISSION .
- Secure the engine support to the engine/transmission flange with screw sleeves.
- Secure the engine to the assembly support with an engine lift. Get another person to help you do this.
Additional Steps Required For Complete Disassembly Before Fitting The Engine Support:
- Remove the clutch → 305019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CLUTCH .
- Remove flywheel or drive plate for converter → WM 136019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DUAL-MASS FLYWHEEL - TURBO or → WM 136019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FLYWHEEL - PDK TRANSMISSION - TURBO .
If complete disassembly is not required, the flywheel and clutch can remain fitted. In this case, the adapter for Engine Support 9667 must be fitted.
