Subsequent Work

Fit tailpipe covers.
→ 263519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TAILPIPE COVER .

→ Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lb.)
Install air cleaner housing.
→ 242519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CLEANER HOUSING - GT2 RS .
Install pressure pipe.
→ 214119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PRESSURE PIPE - GT2 RS .
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Fill in coolant and bleed the system.

Bleed the clutch system.

Connect the battery.
→ WM 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY .
Heat the engine to operating temperature and check the coolant level again.
1. 7.1. Check all connections on the cooling system that were opened during removal for leaks.
Check fluid level (Pentosin) in power-steering system and top it up if necessary.

Check engine-oil level and top up if necessary.
→ 170101 CHECKING ENGINE-OIL LEVEL - GT2 RS .
Fit rear wheels.
→ 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL WITH CENTRAL BOLT .

→ Tightening torque: 130 Nm (96 ft. lb.)
Fit rear and center underbody cover.
→ 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY .

→ 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY .
Remove protective covers on body.
Perform a test drive.
