Removing Bracket For Oil Cooler

  1. Disconnect oil line -2-  .
    1. 1.1. Loosen union nut on oil line (do not screw off yet).

  2. Pull off right coolant hose -1-  .
    1. 2.1. Open the spring band clamp -3-  and pull off coolant hose.
    2. 2.2. Collect emerging coolant and close off the coolant hose.

  3. Release and pull off cable plug -1-  on the right temperature sensor.

  4. Loosen holder for oil cooler bracket.
    1. 4.1. Unscrew two M8 hexagon-head bolts -1-  .

  5. Pull oil cooler bracket off the oil pump connection piece.
  6. Remove left coolant hose -1-  and oil line -3-  .
    1. 6.1. Open the spring band clamp -2-  and pull off coolant hose.
    2. 6.2. Screw off union nut for oil line by hand and place the bracket on a clean surface.
    3. 6.3. Collect emerging fluid and close off the lines.

  7. Replace O-ring on the oil pump connection piece.
  8. Replace O-rings -1-  on the bracket.
