Installing Transmission Oil Cooler

Information
- Replace O-rings.
- Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68).
- Fit transmission oil cooler -1-
.
- 1.1. Fit new O-rings on the oil cooler bracket and grease with the prescribed lubricant.
- 1.2. Fit the transmission oil cooler to the oil cooler bracket using four fastening screws -2 and 3- and tighten the screws uniformly.
- 1.3. Tighten fastening screws to the specified torque.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Transmission oil cooler
- Hexagon socket head bolt, M6 x 55
- Internal Torx screw, M6 x 16
- Remove clamps from the coolant hoses.
- 2.1. Remove Hose Clamp 3093 -2- from the left coolant hose -1- .
- 2.2. Remove Hose Clamping Pliers Nr. 192 -2- from the right coolant hose -1- .
- Release secured coolant lines, move them into installation position and fit the transverse strut.
- 3.1. Position plastic holder -3- and close the locking clip.
- 3.2. Secure the transverse strut -1-
with two hexagon-head bolts (M10 x 40) -2-
.
→ Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.)
- Clip in control valve -3- and fit cable plug -1- .
