Subsequent Work

  1. Secure rear cardan shaft at the transmission. → WM 393519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR CARDAN SHAFT
  2. Secure the brake calliper.

    → WM 473919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BRAKE CALLIPER (EXCEPT PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA TURBO S, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA PLATINUM ED., PANAMERA 4 PLATINUM ED.)

    → WM 473919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BRAKE CALLIPER (PCCB) (EXCEPT PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA TURBO S, PANAMERA PLATINUM ED., PANAMERA 4 PLATINUM ED.)

  3. Install rear profile seal.
  4. Install cowl panel cover. → WM 508719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COWL PANEL COVER (EXCEPT PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)
  5. Install plenum panel cover at the left and right. → WM 852219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PLENUM PANEL COVER (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)
  6. Connect battery ground terminal. → WM 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS) or WM 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS)
  7. Fill the air conditioning system. → WM 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)
  8. Fill in coolant for the high-temperature and low-temperature cooling system. → WM 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (INCLUDES BLEEDING) (EXCEPT PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)
  9. Install underbody covers.

    → WM 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)

    → WM 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY (EXCEPT PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)

  10. Install exhaust system. → WM 260119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST SYSTEM
  11. Install left front wheel housing liner completely.

    → WM 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO S, PANAMERA TURBO S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION, PANAMERA 4 EXECUTIVE)

  12. Install front wheels. → WM 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL (EXCEPT PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA TURBO S, PANAMERA PLATINUM ED., PANAMERA 4 PLATINUM ED.)
  13. Observe warning notes. → WM 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (EXCEPT PANAMERA S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA 4 S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA TURBO S EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA 4S SPORT EDITION)
  14. Start the high-voltage electrical system and complete the relevant documentation. → WM 2X00IN ISOLATING HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FROM POWER SUPPLY/STARTING HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (PANAMERA S E-HYBRID, PANAMERA S HYBRID)
  15. Erase the fault memory.→ WM 033500 ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS FAULT MEMORY (PANAMERA S E-HYBRID, PANAMERA S HYBRID, PANAMERA 4, PANAMERA 4S, PANAMERA TURBO, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA TURBO S, PANAMERA PLATINUM ED., PANAMERA 4 PLATINUM ED.)
  16. After erasing the fault memory of the power electronics control unit, the phase angle and temperature model of the electric motor must be calibrated. Certain temperature ranges of the power electronics and electric motor must be observed in order to perform complete calibration.
    1. The phase angle and temperature model are calibrated by actuating the brake and terminal 50 for approx. 2 seconds without starting the vehicle. No other conditions must be met for calibrating the phase angle.
    2. Defined temperatures on the electric motor (< 60 °C) and a temperature difference between the electric motor and power electronics (< 20°C) must be observed in order to calibrate the temperature model. If these temperatures are not observed, the phase angle can be calibrated and the vehicle can be started but the temperature model will not be calibrated.
    3. If the temperature conditions are met after stopping the vehicle in the case of a vehicle that has not been calibrated fully, the temperature model will be calibrated automatically the next time the vehicle is started (actuate the brake and terminal 50, start the vehicle). The first start attempt is perceived as a hung start or false start. The vehicle can then be started after a terminal change (ignition off/on).
