Connecting the battery
WARNING:
Static battery charge
- Battery can explode
- Electrical discharges
→ Do not rub the battery with a dry cloth.
Information
Switch off all loads and remove the ignition key.
- Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running .
- Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution .
- The battery is connected in reverse order to the steps described for disconnecting.
- Tighten fastening nut on the terminal clamp for the ground line. Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ft lb.)
