Removing (central) headlight control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work  .
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation  .
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts  .

1. Switch off position lights.
2. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
3. Remove (central) headlight control unit -1-  .
   1. 3.1. Press back locking lug on the holder -2-  using a plastic wedge.
   2. 3.2. Carefully lift up (central) headlight control unit at the left and pull it out of the right tab -3-  on the holder.
4. Release clip -1-  (-a-  ), swivel it aside -b-  and remove electric plug connection from the (central) headlight control unit -2-  .
